Hell’s brews

Ingredients:
  • Millet – 200 grams;
  • Onion – ½ pc;
  • Carrots – ½ pc;
  • Garlic – 1 clove;
  • Oil;
  • Butter – 20 grams;
  • Porcini mushrooms – 100 grams;
  • White wine – 50 ml;
  • Cream – 100 ml;
  • Striploin beef steak;
  • Hard cheese.
Kulesh with meat: cooking method:

To make a delicious and very flavorful Ukrainian kulish, we need to take 200 grams of millet and rinse it several times. Cut half a carrot and half an onion into as large a cube as possible, and press one garlic with a knife. Add vegetable oil, a little butter to the pan and stew the vegetables for 1.5 to 3 minutes (maximum), add porcini mushrooms (it is important to use frozen mushrooms, not dried), add wine for a good sourness, add millet and mix well. Next, add water or broth and cook over low heat for 15-20 minutes until the millet is almost ready, then add warm cream and grated cheese, and remove the kulesh from the heat. To cook a perfect steak, heat the frying pan as much as possible, put the meat on it and fry it for two minutes on each side, then transfer the meat to the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 3 to 4 minutes. Remove the meat, cut it into thin slices, and put it on the kulesh. We taste and enjoy the Ukrainian Cossack dish.
