The root vegetable contains B vitamins, PP, C and E vitamins. It is enough to eat 200 grams of this vegetable to get the required amount of vitamin C. Radish gently cleanses the intestines, removes harmful substances, lowers blood sugar, is an antioxidant, which reduces the development of cancer, has a choleretic effect, and strengthens the immune system. Top 3 delicious and healthy radish dishes:

Salad with radish and egg
Ingredients:
  • a bunch of radishes – 1 piece
  • large cucumber – 1 piece
  • egg – 2 pieces
  • green onions – several stalks
  • dill and parsley – to taste
  • thick white yogurt or sour cream – 100 grams
Preparation:

Wash the vegetables thoroughly and peel the cucumber. Boil the eggs very hard. Chop vegetables, herbs, and eggs, season with salt and pepper, and add yogurt or sour cream. We mix everything and serve it to the table.

Sandwiches with radish 
Ingredients:
  • fatty kefir – 1 liter
  • cucumber – 1 piece
  • radishes – a few pieces
  • dill – several branches
  • rye or grain bread – several slices
Preparation:

We start by making kefir cottage cheese. Put a bag of kefir in the freezer overnight. In the morning, we take it out of the bag, put it in cheesecloth, and hang it over the sink to let the curd drain. After half a day, we get delicious cream cheese. 

We assemble our sandwiches: spread cheese on the bread, put radish, cucumber, and dill on top.

Fried radish
Ingredients:
  • Radish – 500 grams
  • Butter – 30 grams
  • Mustard seeds – 1 tablespoon
  • Salt and pepper – to taste
  • water – half a glass
  • greens – to taste
Preparation:

Wash and dry the radishes thoroughly. Heat the butter in a frying pan, add the mustard, and put the diced radish. Fry for 10 minutes, add herbs and spices. Then add water and simmer for 10 minutes.
