Famous macaroni and cheese: a recipe from Hector Jimenez-Bravo

“Today we are making the famous macaroni and cheese that Americans love so much. This dish is available in stores in the form of fast food, but homemade is always better! P.S. I used a classic recipe and combination, but you can experiment by adding other types of cheeses ,“ notes Ector.
Ingredients:
- Cheddar – 100 grams;
- Edam – 100 grams;
- Maasdam is 100 grams;
- Parmesan cheese – 100 grams;
- Butter – 30 grams;
- Milk – 400 ml;
- Smoked paprika – 2 grams;
- Dried basil – 2 grams;
- Garlic – 2 pcs;
- Cream 30% – 100 ml;
- Flour – 2 tbsp;
- Pasta (already prepared).
Method of cooking:
In a saucepan, mix butter, garlic, dried basil, stir with a whisk, add smoked paprika, and flour. Stir it constantly. Pour in the milk, add three types of grated cheese (leave some of the cheese for baking), and pour in the cream. Stir constantly until smooth. Mix the cooked pasta with the sauce, put it in a baking dish, sprinkle with grated cheese, put it in the oven and bake it until golden brown. Bon appetit!
