Persimmon pie is a real winter dessert, because at this time of year persimmons appear on the shelves of shops and supermarkets. Try to cook this delicious pie according to the recipe of the Ukrainian chef of Colombian origin, restaurateur, judge of “MasterChef. Professionals”-4, which is scheduled to premiere in February 2023 on STB, Hector Jimenez-Bravo.

“Are you used to cooking pastries only with jam, apples and berries? It’s time to try something new,” – says Hector.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs (small) – 3 pcs.
  • Sugar – 180 grams;
  • Vegetable oil – 100 ml;
  • Flour – 200 grams;
  • Baking soda – 1 tsp;
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp;
  • Persimmon – 3 pcs;
  • Salt.

Method of cooking:

Beat eggs, baking soda, sugar and oil with a whisk. Add lemon juice and flour, mix again. Cut persimmons into small pieces and add to the dough. Cover a tall round baking dish with parchment, pour the dough, cover with persimmons (cut into half rings). Bake until ready. Sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar and garnish with fresh persimmons.
