Charity exhibition-marathon “Between Heaven and Earth” was opened in Zakarpattia sanatorium “Polony Flower”. It was initiated by the Ukrainian artist Oksana Fursa.

After the sold-out event at the Taras Shevchenko National Museum, the exhibition began its travels around the world: later it visited the Canary Islands, and now it visited the glorious Transcarpathian region, namely the hospitable sanatorium-resort complex “Kvitka Poloniny”.

The exhibition combines three artists – the brilliant Taras Shevchenko – the founder of the classical school of Ukrainian painting (copies of paintings are presented), Maria Priymachenko – an outstanding representative of Ukrainian naive art (copies of paintings are presented) and  Oksana Fursa is a famous Ukrainian artist, a representative of modern folk art.

“I am pleased that in the “Polonina Flower”, which I met at the beginning of the war, I discovered the pearl of Transcarpathia. Today, all artists of Ukraineunited around the idea of victory and work on the art front. We can talk through visual art and reach more hearts all over the world”, –  emphasized artist Oksana Fursa.

As the organizers of the event note, such a project is needed right now, because the enemy is trying to destroy our culture, our statehood. The opening of this exhibition in the Kvitka Polonyna sanatorium actually creates a Transcarpathian cultural hub.

“With this exhibition, we want to emphasize that there is no east or west, there is only one Ukraine – great and strong,” – commented Margarita Zagumennova, deputy director of the sanatorium.

The marathon exhibition aims to raise funds for the revival of Ukrainian art, creative education institutions, victims of the war, assistance to creatively gifted children, museums, and cultural institutions.

“The exhibition will be open until the first half of January. A number of events will take place within the framework of the exhibition: various master classes, art therapy classes. I am sure that she will leave a big mark on the cultural life of Transcarpathia,” added artist Oksana Fursa.
