In Ukraine, on December 1, the amount of the subsistence minimum will increase for the third time in a year, and therefore pensions and social benefits will increase.
Currently, the subsistence minimum in Ukraine per person is 2 thousand. UAH 294, from December 1 it will increase to UAH 2,000. UAH 393
Living wage for different population groups from December 1:
- for children under 6 years of age – 2.1 thousand UAH;
- for children aged 6 to 18 years – 2 thousand UAH 618;
- for able-bodied persons – 2 thousand UAH 481;
- for citizens who have lost their ability to work – 1,000 934 hryvnias
Despite the military invasion of the Russian Federation, pensions and other types of social benefits continue to be paid in Ukraine.
Social assistance is awarded to families who permanently reside in Ukraine and have an average monthly income below the subsistence minimum for the family.
From December, the subsistence minimum for the purpose of assistance will be as follows:
- for able-bodied persons – UAH 868.35;
- for persons who have lost their ability to work – 1,000 UAH 934;
- for children under 6 years of age – 2 thousand UAH 730;
- for children aged 6 to 18 years – 3 thousand UAH 403.4;
- for children aged 18 to 23 – 3 thousand UAH 225.3
The maximum amount of unemployment benefits from December 1 will be 9,000. 924 hryvnias
From December 1, pensions will also be automatically recalculated. Yes, the minimum pension will be 1 thousand. UAH 934 (80 UAH more) – it is calculated according to age, with 30 years of insurance experience for women and 35 years for men.
The maximum amount of the pension will be 19,000. UAH 340 – an increase of UAH 800.
Also, the amount of the minimum pension for citizens who do not work over the age of 65 with full insurance experience will increase – to 2.6 thousand. UAH
