Top 5 richest people in Ukraine: ranking

Forbes has updated its ranking of the richest people in Ukraine. Renat Akhmetov turned out to be the wealthiest Ukrainian. His estimated wealth has increased by $1.5 billion to $5.7 billion since April last year, all thanks to the $1.886 billion in dividends paid by Metinvest to the main beneficiary in 2021.

However, due to the war in Ukraine, Akhmetov lost $8 billion. It was ranked 445th in the global list.

The top 5 richest people in Ukraine are Viktor Pinchuk ($2.1 billion, down from $2.2 billion in December), Vadym Novynskyi ($1.4 billion, down from $1 billion in December) and Kostyantyn Zhevago ($1.3 billion, down from $1.4 billion in December).
