“E-resident”: The Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced a tender
The Ministry of Digital Transformation has announced a tender for the development of an innovative mobile application called E-Resident. This project, which will be funded by the European Union, involves the development of an application for the E-Resident information system.
With this application, foreign citizens will be able to use a variety of electronic services. These include obtaining and canceling e-resident status, opening and closing current accounts, using electronic signature keys, and state registration of individual entrepreneurs who are e-residents. This was reported by representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
The Ministry expects that each e-resident will make an average annual contribution to the Ukrainian budget of $1,000. In the first stage, it is planned to attract about 1000 e-residents, which will replenish the country’s budget by about $1 million.
