Rose jam cupcakes: recipe
Yevhen Klopotenko will help Ukrainianize his guests’ favorite dishes and give new life to the products of our ancestors! Instead of French eclairs, you can make Ukrainian kifliks with rose jam.
Ingredients:
- Wheat flour – 360 grams;
- Corn flour – 260 grams;
- Yeast – 20 grams;
- Milk – 200 ml;
- Salt;
- Sugar – 2 tbsp;
- Sour cream – 350 grams;
- Rose jam – 200 ml;
- Walnut – 50 grams;
- Poppy seeds – 1 tbsp;
- Egg – 1 pc.
Method of cooking:
Take 360 grams of plain flour, 260 grams of corn flour, and make a separate dough: Mix 20 grams of yeast and 200 grams of milk and leave it in a warm place for 15 minutes. When our dough has started to work, transfer it to the flour mixture, add salt, sugar, and 350 grams of warm sour cream (or room temperature). Knead everything well for about 15 minutes, cover with a towel and leave in a warm place at for 1 to 1.5 hours. When we see that the dough has risen, we roll it out well, cut it into small triangles, place them on a baking sheet with parchment, brush with rose jam, add chopped walnuts and a little poppy seed, roll up the kiflyky and leave the dough to proof for another 15-20 minutes. Put the kiflichki in an already preheated oven at 180 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Let’s enjoy real Ukrainian delicacies.
