Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke at the Council of Europe summit: what the president said - 1 - изображениеPresident Volodymyr Zelenskyy addressed the participants of the Council of Europe summit that started in Reykjavik, Iceland. The Head of State spoke about the massive attack of the terrorist country on Kyiv, noting that ballistic and cruise missiles and drones were used.

“Russia is trying very hard to improve its ability to kill. We are trying very hard to improve the protection of our people. I thank all the countries and leaders who help us improve our air defense. Together, we are demonstrating what our one hundred percent is, what the power of the free world is. And, of course, I thank each of our soldiers who do this work in our skies and on our land, and I especially thank everyone who trains our soldiers in various training missions, which all have one thing in common – success,” the head of state emphasized.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy noted that Ukraine needs even more air defense systems to ensure that the entire territory of the country is protected.

“Of course, much more needs to be done. Ukraine’s territory is vast, and to make air defense results like last night’s the rule throughout the country, we need additional air defense systems and missiles. We also need modern fighters, without which no air defense system will be perfect,” the President said.
