  • Japan 89.76
    Singapore 89.65
    Italy 89.11
    Germany 88.99
    Spain 88.95

What distinguishes the VisaGuide.World Passport Index is the fact that no two passports have the same rating. This is made possible by using a proprietary destination value score (DSS), a combination of many factors that gives each passport a unique value.

The world’s strongest passports: to achieve a unique ranking, the system assigns a value to each point, which is called the destination significance score (DSS). Each destination is assigned a unique DSS value based on the entry policy applied to the passport, GDP, capacity index, tourism index, and human development index (HDI), among other factors. DSS is increased by the value of the destination country’s visa requirement for selected passport holders.
