Ivanna Onufriychuk about her plans to become a mother
Ivanna Onufriychuk gave an interview to the updated project “Lives of Famous People” on 1+1 Ukraine. Ivanna was the host of the last season of Dancing with the Stars alongside Yuriy Horbunov, but with the outbreak of full-scale war, she had to put her TV career on hold, as did many other colleagues. For a year now, Onufriychuk has been actively helping Ukrainians, even while abroad.
In a conversation with journalists, Ivanna spoke about her humanitarian trips to Ukraine, her return to Ukrainian TV, her dreams after the victory, and her foundation IvAlive. Ivanna has been dreaming of becoming a mother for a long time, and exclusively shared with the Living Journal that she and her husband are actively working on this issue.
“This is our common dream – to become parents, to have wonderful, beautiful, healthy children, and we are working tirelessly on it. I really believe that we will succeed – to give birth to a child, to raise a person and leave a piece of ourselves, our continuation, on this planet,” says the host.
In the conversation, Onufriychuk also recalled how she and her husband Almaz sheltered her family-mother, grandmother, sister, and three children-in their Swiss apartment, while living in a small hotel nearby:
“We came home to eat, spend time, and change clothes. My boyfriend took this situation well and said, on the contrary, if anyone needs it, we still have a sofa, a floor, a glazed balcony with a sofa.”
She admitted that she misses her work, filming, team, and hopes that Dancing with the Stars will return:
“This is what I get my main energy and inspiration from. I dream that ‘Dancing with the Stars’ will come back, so that we (Ukrainians) can dance even louder and brighter. Everything will be! I believe in it and am waiting for this moment.”
The heroes of the renewed Celebrity Life project with hosts Tymuriy Miroshnychenko and Vira Kekelia will be both Ukrainian celebrities and folk heroes who became popular during the war due to their dedication and patriotism. Watch HLL from Monday to Friday at 11:00.
