Nikita Kiselev and Natalka Denisenko released a lyrical mini-album
Composer and singer Nikita Kiselyov presented a lyrical mini-album-collaboration with Ukrainian actress and spoken word artist Natalka Denisenko. It was called “Cool Album”.
The album consists of four songs – “Winter”, “Cool”, “Blizzard” and “Shine”. All of them echo each other with the monologues read by Natalka.
Thus, Nikita and Natalka seem to immerse listeners in the reality that is familiar to every Ukrainian today, but at the same time return to the carefree past.
“In my songs I wanted to draw a parallel between the cold that sometimes occurs in the soul and the cold that we feel physically. Especially in times of blackouts, moments of “warmth”, in any of their manifestations, we began to appreciate much more“, – Nikita comments.

“When I first heard Nikita’s songs, as a person who adores poetry, I paid attention to the lyrics. These are highly artistic works, not just “I love you and you don’t love me”, his songs use beautiful comparisons and allegories, everything that catches you, everything that gives you goosebumps. When I was offered to read the monologues and was allowed to listen to all the material, I was delighted. I had no doubt that it was something incredibly creative and beautiful, so I immediately agreed“, – Natalka said.
According to the artists, the work on the album was not easy, as songs and monologues were recorded in the studio without light. They connected all the equipment to batteries and warmed themselves with warm tea.
“This darkness created a unique atmosphere, which, in my opinion, helped we can feel the inherent meanings even more. I really hope that In we managed to convey it,” – the singer expressed hope.
“Cool Album” is available on all music platforms.
