GRABAR released a scream song about the state of every Ukrainian

Ukrainian musician GRABAR released a video for the new single “Aaa (add some more vowels)”. This is a cry-song about the state of every Ukrainian.

GRABAR (Oleg Grabar) currently  is in the ranks of the Armed Forces, he wrote the song in the dugout, and  the video sequence was recorded  his musician friends in Kyiv.

This clip is a musical postcard of a soldier to the civilian population and listeners.

“There are five times fewer vowels in the Ukrainian language than consonants. But we express the most sincere emotions thanks to them. One vowel can explain all the emotions of Ukrainians that accumulated during the full-scale war.” – says GRABAR.

In the track, the artist returns to a minimalist acoustic sound, which helps to reveal the artist as a songwriter and lyricist, as well as draw attention to the message of the song. Content and words for the artist  in the first place.

GRABAR  a representative of the independent indie scene, who creates musical material on his own at all stages. Every one of his songs is this  statements on a hot social topic that causes different opinions in society.

His debut track “tam i tut“ is a reflection on the topic of emigration, understood by almost every Ukrainian in February 2022, and the second single “MOVA“ is about bilingualism in society, language laws and the transition from Russian to Ukrainian in everyday life after the beginning full-scale war in Ukraine.
