Earlier this year, the UK banned bloggers from using filters that change their appearance by law. What do you think about this law?

The British thought not only about the audience, but also about bloggers, because the growth of filters also affects the psyche of bloggers. On the screen you see yourself with a perfect tone, a small nose and big lips, and then you look in the mirror and think: “Who is this?”. If filters are banned in Ukraine, I will take it well. For a long time I was addicted to masks that change my appearance. When you get used to it, you lose track of what you look like in reality.

The audience has to choose whether to look up to someone. For example, Angelina Jolie is beautiful, but no one will get depressed because she looks different.

What helped you accept and love yourself?

I was greatly influenced by my passion for the beauty industry. I learned that the contours of the face depend on our posture, asked how to remove the second chin, and went to a cosmetologist to harmonize my face with the help of medications. It is possible to slightly correct your appearance without harming your health. I am completely different now. If you compare the photos from five years ago and my photos from today, they are different people. As we grow up, our perspective and self-awareness change.

A beautiful girl is one who is confident in herself. At the same time, a complexed person will try to hide their flaws and look unnatural.

Because of your love for beauty, you opened your own salon, which will turn one year old on your birthday, June 19. What have you learned about business during this time?

No business is perfect. We have made mistakes, been embarrassed in front of our clients, and had unclear situations, but the most important thing is that we strive to grow and become better. Feedback is very important to us. A great customer doesn’t say that they like everything, but points out some flaw that we can fix and improve the salon.

What are your plans for the future?

This year we will open another business. I really hope that I will have a  tradition of discovering something every year. Soon, a beauty clinic will open in Ivano-Frankivsk, where we will focus on health. We will have a trichologist, cosmetologist, gynecologist, body shaping and laser hair removal. Such beauty clinics are currently relevant and are only gaining momentum. My medical education gave me a lot of knowledge about the sterility and efficiency of procedures.

Do you regret leaving university?

Now I am an absolutely happy person because I am doing what I love. But I took a risky move – I left the second year of my internship at a medical university. At that time, I was already an accomplished blogger, and studying didn’t bother me at all. I just admitted to myself that dentistry was not my thing. You can deceive everyone else, but not yourself. Moreover, there was an incident that influenced my decision. One day, half the class was discussing me: “Why does she take pictures in Bukovel in a swimsuit and then go home because she’s sick?” My travels and filming were the talk of the university. It was unpleasant. I stopped going to classes, and two months later I received a letter about my dismissal from the internship.

Anyone who has a public career and successfully runs a business usually receives a “bonus” in the form of envious or negative comments. How do you respond to criticism?

There were a lot of comments about my appearance: either the swimsuit makes me look fat, or the fluff is noticeable near my ear. By the way, I removed it because we had a new service in the salon and needed to test it. The prayers of the haters are answered (j oking). In fact, I do not respond to hateful comments. I would never in my life go for rhinoplasty because of someone’s subjective opinion. Plastic surgery is purely my inner feelings. I have more confidence. I didn’t see my nose as perfect before, so I narrowed it in Photoshop. By the way, most of my subscribers did not notice a significant difference. They even joked in the comments that the difference was only 9 thousand euros.

I won’t say that I am completely satisfied with myself at the moment – there is always room to raise the bar. I want to work on my figure more, but it’s hard to find time in my work schedule.

Sasha, how do you manage to constantly broadcast a cheerful lifestyle on Instagram?

I deliberately do not touch on topics that can cause a lot of negative comments, even though they raise statistics. In fact, I am a very calm, phlegmatic person. It’s impossible to quarrel with me, because in conflict situations I’d rather keep quiet. I have almost no mood swings, so I just broadcast my life. I cried in stories only twice during the entire time I was blogging.

Natalia Filon

I listen to my subscribers who ask me to write a post on a certain topic or remind me of issues that have not been raised in my blog for a long time. Then I make a poll in the story, where my audience chooses the topic we are talking about. It is important for people to feel a real connection with a blogger. I see my regular readers every day when I log in to Direct and look at their responses to stories and comments. Sometimes people are surprised that I can talk to my readers. But I am not some arrogant celebrity.

You and your husband have been together for 6 years and have two beautiful sons. What helps you not to lose your feelings in the midst of everyday life and work?

We both realize that there is such a thing as routine, and sometimes it is very cruel. You can spend a lot of time cleaning your apartment, putting away your children’s toys, and tidying up. And I have no energy or desire to go drink a glass of wine and cuddle with my husband, because the only thing I want is to sleep. That’s why Igor and I have a rule: we organize trips and vacations only for two people. 80% of our trips are without children. My husband and I get new experiences and immediately remember how young we are.

Children will not always be small. The hardest thing is to survive the first 6 years. This is, of course, art.

Do you remember the beginning of your relationship? Tell us how you met and what won you over to Igor.

At the time of our meeting, Igor was already a popular presenter. He dressed flamboyantly, worked in nightclubs, and was often on the road, so it seemed that he was not serious. I was in a relationship where I was asked to marry. Later, on my initiative, that relationship ended, and Ihor and I started communicating. I remember when he wrote to me for the first time and asked me to draw a tattoo sketch. It was just an excuse to get to know each other, because in the end I didn’t draw any sketches.

When we met for lunch, the first impression was positive. Igor is well-mannered, intelligent, and speaks very beautifully, but too much (smiles ). I thought we would just have a friendly conversation. In general, I believe that friendship between a man and a woman is possible.

Later, Ihor broke up with his girlfriend, and our communication began to take on a more romantic character. We went on a date, kissed, and started living together the next day. Over the three months of communication, we got to know each other well enough to make this decision.

How did Igor make you an offer?

In fact, I don’t want to bring this story to the public. My followers will be amazed when they find out. It didn’t happen under the roses, under the opera house, or on a picturesque terrace with a view. Mostly girls expect this to happen during a romantic dinner or on their birthday. Ihor proposed to me in a fit of fierce passion. Of course, I immediately agreed, although it was very unexpected.
