iPhone 15: innovations of the new line of smartphones from Apple

This year, Apple impressed its fans by updating only two products – Apple Watch and iPhone 15. 

The basic model is available in five colors: pink, yellow, blue, green, and black. The rear surface of the case has a matte finish made using a new technology, as reported by Apple. The smartphone is powered by the A16 Bionic chip, the same as in last year’s iPhone 14 Pro.

The main camera has been improved – now it has 48 megapixels and updated sensors that will allow you to take high-quality photos in low light, as well as create more vivid portrait shots. In addition, the smartphone allows you to change the focus on objects after taking a photo.

The iPhone 15 is the first phone from the company with a USB-C connector (before that, smartphones had a unique Lightning connector). Now you can charge your iPhone and Airpods via USB-C. To mark the occasion, the company has launched a mini-adapter with Lightning, which costs from $19 to $29 depending on the length of the cable.

Innovations in iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max:

1. A titanium body that makes the smartphone the lightest in the lineup.
2. The rounded edges of the case are similar to the basic version.
3. Thinner display bezels – they have been reduced from 2.2 mm to 1.5 mm. This made the iPhone Pro Max more compact and lighter, and the iPhone 15 Pro has a larger screen while maintaining the same dimensions.
4. Instead of the silent mode switch, a customizable button has been introduced, similar to the one in the Apple Watch Ultra.
5. The zoom camera has been replaced by a “periscope” with five times optical zoom, but this is only available in the larger iPhone Pro Max, the smaller one doesn’t have enough space for it. Currently, iPhones can only zoom in 3.5 times without losing quality.
6. The connector has also been replaced with a universal USB-C connector, just like in the basic model. It supports faster charging with 35W of power and fast USB 3.2 data transfer, so you can transfer high-quality photos and videos to your computer 5-10 times faster.

The new models will be available for purchase starting September 22.
