The autumn-winter season is approaching, and we associate it with gray days, cool weather, and melancholy caused by a lack of sun (and vitamins in the body). In his new collection, Andre Tan decided to save the Ukrainian woman from stereotypical ideas about the shape and color of women’s clothing for the “cold season”. The goal of the fall-winter 2023/24 collection is to giveand women more light, pleasant colors and good mood with the help of interesting and non-standard design solutions.

The designer continues to work and experiment with eco-materials. The collection includes soft beige and white fabrics made from eco-cotton and even eco-friendly leather made from recycled banana peels. Fall and winter palette clothing contains color schemes for every day and every mood: from minimalist, soft sweaters and pants to more daring and bold colors (for example, bright yellow mini-skirts in combination with yellow oversized down jackets).

 

Also this season, Andre Tan continues to rethink Ukrainian embroidery and adapt it to everyday life. This time, the designer created black embroidered shirts with black ornaments that perfectly match leather boots. The new collection is largely based on experiments with “traditional” clothing – in this way, the designer encourages his audience to actively search for themselves and new experiences. A reworked “classic” is one of the designer’s trademarks, which manifested itself this season in the form of non-standard suits and elongated jackets oversized vests sleeveless. André Tan even manages to dabout the reception “layering”: the collection includes models of trousers with jeans “built in”.

 

For the first time in the history of the brand, the collection includes maxi coat, white and gooseneck, which contain the real magic of slimness and femininity. “Femininity, elegance, authenticity are the DNA of the Andre Tan brand,” the designer comments on the new collection.

“I happen to understand women very well, their complex emotional nature and internal architecture. At the same time, a woman can be studied and explored forever, each time discovering new facets of her essence. That’s why each of my collections is a new research and guesses about what a woman really needs. In this collection, I tried to show that even cold weather and drizzle outside the window is not a reason to be melancholy. Clothes, what we wear and what we see on people around us have a great impact on our mood. My task as a designer is to improve the mood, to help women shine and show their inner radiance regardless of the season.”
