United by Courage: Fundraising for “The Shahed Catcher” unites almost 40 countries
The last Sunday of November marked the run “UNITED BY COURAGE” – the most massive running event from Run Ukraine in 2022. The participants covered distances both online, in different parts of the world, and offline, in Kyiv.
The running event brought together participants from Ukraine and 39 countries of the world. More than 500 runners of various training levels covered the offline distance in Kyiv. And hundreds of runners joined the online participation, including Timothy Snyder, an American historian and ambassador of UNITED24, with a distance of 10 km, and Viktor Lyashko, the Minister of Health of Ukraine.

United by courage
The charity run “UNITED BY COURAGE” gained a new meaning, becoming a true embodiment of the indomitability of Ukrainians. Despite the lack of electricity, mobile communication, water and heat, dozens of contractors in different cities still managed to produce medals, print banners – to do everything possible to make the event happen. Thousands of participants did not stop training in order to start today with the flag of Ukraine.
“We did it. Despite so many obstacles and harsh conditions of new realities, we organized the race and gathered people from almost 40 countries. Today it is snowy and cold in Kyiv, but all the same our participants gathered at the start and finished successfully. We are proud that we can do what we do – because every personal victory of a participant is a contribution to our big, joint victory!”, – comments Victoria Veremienko from the Run Ukraine team.
Registration will last until December 4
Inspired by the success of the running event, the organizers decided to extend the registration period for online participation in the race. New participants will be able to run their distances at any time anywhere in the world until December 4, 2022. To participate, you can choose one of two award formats: online participants can receive an electronic medal or an iron medal (by mail).

It doesn’t matter what distance the participant runs (100 meters or half marathon), because everyone will help protect the Ukrainian sky from enemy drones. And to remind once again that Ukrainians are invincible, because they are united among themselves and with the whole world.
70% of the profits of Run Ukraine, the organizers of the race, will be transferred to the fundraising platform UNITED24 to collect for the system of combating enemy drones – “The Shahed Catcher”.

The race will last until December 4
