Lazy dumplings with cherries and smoked pear: recipe

“Hell’s Bread with Yevhen Klopotenko”
Ingredients:
- Cottage cheese – 300 grams;
- Wheat flour – 400 grams;
- Kefir – 200 grams;
- Egg 1 pc;
- Salt;
- Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp;
- Sugar – 1 tbsp;
- Cherries – 100 grams;
- Butter – 100 grams;
- Smoked pear – 100 grams;
- Shortbread cookies – 150 grams.
Method of cooking:
To make authentic Ukrainian lazy dumplings with cherries and smoked pears, you need to take 300 grams of cottage cheese, 400 grams of flour, kefir, one egg, a pinch of salt, a little oil, one tablespoon of sugar, and mix it all well and thoroughly. We make a mold in the form of a roll, cut it into small pillows. Boil water, throw our lazy dumplings into the hot water, and cook for 3 to 5 minutes. To make the sauce, which will show the whole Ukrainian soul, melt 100 grams of butter in a frying pan, put the cherries in it and heat them up, but do not fry them. It will take 1 to 2 minutes. In one bowl, mix lazy dumplings, cherries with butter and sprinkle with grated smoked pear. You can also add a little sour cream. To add another nice touch, take shortbread cookies, knead them with your hands, and sprinkle half a teaspoon on each serving of lazy dumplings.
