Four services that help build a democratic Ukraine

services Mykhailo Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, listed four open data services that help build a transparent and democratic country. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

“Open Data Watchdog monitors all actions with datasets on data.gov.ua. Any attempt by a government agency to update, delete or change information is recorded.

Weekly Charts is a portal of Ekonomichna Pravda, which uses the language of numbers to tell what is happening in the country. Data journalism is one of the key global trends in the fight against corruption.

Pravosud is a system for searching and analyzing court documents. It promotes transparency of judicial proceedings and reduces corruption risks.

The Budu mamma chatbot allows you to solve the issue of domestic corruption in medicine. It helps patients learn how to get state-guaranteed medical services.”

He also noted that despite the war in Ukraine, the open data sphere continues to develop:

“Ukraine remains one of the European leaders in this area. Every day we communicate with the security forces to open access to as much data as possible. Of course, taking into account all the risks.”
