Gnocchi in chicken broth: recipe

Yevhen Klopotenko will help Ukrainianize his guests’ favorite dishes and give new life to the products of our ancestors! For example, Yevhen and Volodymyr Ostapchuk cooked  juicy tertiaries in chicken broth.

Hell’s brews

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes – 300 grams;
  • Eggs – 2 pcs;
  • Salt;
  • Flour – 1 tbsp;
  • Water is 2.5 liters;
  • Onion – 1 pc;
  • Carrots – 1 pc;
  • Chicken thigh fillet – 2 pcs;
  • Vegetable oil – 50 ml;
  • Sour cream – 2 tbsp;
  • Hoverla cheese or other hard cheese – 100 grams.
Method of cooking:

Rub the potatoes on a fine grater and put them on a sieve to get rid of excess moisture. Then add two eggs, salt, and one tablespoon of flour to the potatoes, and mix well until smooth. Cook the broth: put in half an onion with the skin on, add one carrot, which is cut into three pieces, and add two pieces of thigh meat. Simmer the broth for 30 minutes. Heat a frying pan, add oil, and heat well. Spread half a tablespoon of breadcrumbs, fry until golden brown and turn over. We do this with all potato bases. Put the small meatballs on a plate, pour broth over half of the plate, add sour cream on top, add pepper if desired, cut the thigh meat and add it to the meatballs. Add a pinch of Goverla cheese or other cheese that melts. Enjoy!
