Leonardo da Vinci’s apartment in Bologna is up for sale. His current bodyguard is former footballer Beppe Signori.
The Bologna apartment is the last house of Leonardo da Vinci on Italian soil.
The residence stands on the foundations of a building dating back to the 1300s designed by architect Aristotle Fioravanti. It was renovated to combine historical features with modern amenities and covers an area of 620 square meters. m on three levels.
Impressive features include a terracotta courtyard and rooms decorated with Leonardo-style frescoes, stucco and coffered frescoes, and immaculate 17th-century wood paneling. The corridor has a majestic marble staircase (also hung with works by Renaissance artist Angelo Michele Colonna), and the salons have monumental stone fireplaces.
The current guardian of the house is Italian footballer Beppe Signori. Italy Sotheby’s International Realty sells historic real estate at an estimated price of 3.2 million. euros.
