American F-16 pilot volunteers to defend Ukraine’s skies

Dan Hampton, an American pilot and veteran of several wars, is ready to defend Ukraine’s skies. This was reported by the Voice of America.

Hampton noted that a lot of time is spent on training Ukrainian pilots, so he said it is better to have American pilots with extensive experience on the battlefield.

“It’s a quicker solution than sending Ukrainian pilots to the US for a training program. It will be good when the war is over, but you have to win the war first, and this is one way to do it,” Hampton said.

Dan is ready to go to the battlefield right now:

“I’ll even go myself, I’ll be number one, you can count on me,” the American pilot emphasized.
