Russia’s night attack on Ukraine: a critical infrastructure facility was hit
Night attack on Ukraine on March 9. The air raid lasted for several hours in a row. There were explosions in Khmelnytsky, Zhytomyr, Zaporizhzhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, and Kyiv. There were hits to infrastructure facilities in Kirovohrad, Odesa, Vinnytsia and Kryvyi Rih regions.
A Kinzhal ballistic missile hit a critical infrastructure facility in Kyiv. This was reported by the spokesman for the Kyiv City Military Administration Mykhailo Shamanov:
“Losing the war at the front, the enemy continues to attack the capital. Today was another attack. We were on alert for almost 7 hours. The enemy used almost all types of its air weapons. Thanks to the air defense system, there were no strikes by kamikaze drones or cruise missiles on the capital. Unfortunately, a Kinzhal ballistic missile hit a critical infrastructure facility earlier. All services are working on the spot. In Svyatoshynskyi district, the debris fell in the yard of residential buildings, two people were injured.”
Night attack on Ukraine on March 9. In general, it was:
– 28 launches of X-101/X-555 air-launched cruise missiles;
– 20 launches of Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles;
– 6 launches of X-22 air-launched cruise missiles;
– 6 launches of X-47 Kinzhal air-launched cruise missiles;
– 8 launches of guided aircraft missiles: 2 – X-31P; 6 – X-59;
13 launches of S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles
In addition, 8 launches of Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs were carried out.
34 out of 48 X-101/X-555 and Kalibr missiles destroyed today – Zaluzhnyi.
