As a result of a kamikaze drone hitting a building in the Shevchenkiv district, 5 people died (as of 12:00 p.m., 18.10). Search and rescue operations in the city continue. The presenter’s house was located close to the destroyed one, so his building also suffered significant damage.
Yehor shared photos from the scene almost immediately on his social networks, and also told the details to his colleague, Solomiya Vitvitskaya at TSN in the United News Marathon. According to Yehor, there was a big crack in his house and the windows in almost all the apartments were broken.

“ Reconstruction works are still going on behind my back. Zhilyanska will be closed for a few more days. They say that they will manage in a day or two, but there will be circumstances there. Regarding my house, which is wall-to-wall with the one that was hit, they are now trying to understand what will happen after the shock wave. There are different forecasts. I don’t even want to think about it. It will be tomorrow. I will change the glass, it will be tomorrow. I wanted to change the roof (ceiling?) anyway, it will happen tomorrow “, – says Yehor.
The TV presenter addressed the Ukrainians and urged them to help the Armed Forces
The TV presenter also thanked the Ukrainians for their support and empathy and called on them not to ignore the air warning signals and immediately descend into shelter:
“ Today I want to say thank you. Because the amount of heat received yesterday by my whole family, who are alive and healthy – Platon and Jum too (cat and dog Yehor). You know, it’s just hard to overstate. All those who wrote to me are people with whom I crossed paths recently, a long time ago, tangentially, in another life. I am terribly grateful to you! I want this warmth to stay with us for a long time.
But I don’t need any help. I’m definitely not the kind of person who should be helped. Help the Armed Forces, those who really need help. Everything that happened is a life test.
