Cologne, Germany
Best for travel Cologne, which has long been popular as a holiday destination, has several Christmas markets, the largest of which is located in the city center. Start your journey in the square near the Cathedral, then head to the medieval Christmas market.

Berlin, Germany
The city center is decorated with approximately 80 Christmas markets, so don’t try to cover them all. If you’re looking for scale, Spandau is the biggest of them all. In terms of appearance, the Weihnachtszauber, located on the lovely Gendarmenmarkt, is the most beautiful because of the abundance of decorative and applied arts. Get your pulse racing at Winter World on Potsdamer Platz, featuring winter sports such as sledding, curling and ice skating.

Budapest, Hungary
Two Christmas markets opened in the center of Budapest: “Vörösmarty Classic Xmas” on Vörösmarty Square and “Advent Basilika” on Sent István Square. One of the main attractions of the market will be the giant Christmas tree decorations on the “Harisnyaház” building, and the new winter covering for the statue of Mihaj Veressmarty will be unveiled. The market will feature a variety of traditional Hungarian dishes, street food and barbecue.
