Kostyantyn Voytenko shared the details of his divorce

Kostyantyn Voytenko , the star of the TV series “Romeo and Juliet from Cherkasy” on TET , shared the details of his divorce for the first time. He told about this in the program “Life of famous people” . The actor also talked about how, together with choreographer Anton Nesterk, he has been collecting aid for the Ukrainian military since March.

About volunteering

“Here we have a plate carrier, a trunk, medicines, gloves, shoes. All these parcels are different directions, to different people. We managed to collect and, of course, spend 6.5 million hryvnias in total.” Kostya shared his successes .

Kostya devotes all his time to volunteering, since all filming is currently on hiatus. The actor himself lives on savings. And he dreams of returning to work as a director.

“I want to shoot TV series, and comedy films, and comedy series, and not comedy. I know for sure that I can do it. I want to work more as a director, but I don’t want to end my career as an actor. I’ll just choose a project. And there will be no hackneyed projects where I’m like: “Okay, money.” I want to make content with some meaning. To inspire, to give people positivity. This is cool”.

Now Voytenko will pay attention to who he is filming with. Because he admits that he is not at all proud of the fact that he was in the same projects with Russian actors. In particular, with Anton Batyrev, who after many years of working in Ukraine supported the Russian attack.

“I didn’t communicate with him, I wasn’t friends, I didn’t associate with him. Worked out and that’s it. They all filmed here because they were offered higher fees than there. This is paradoxical,” the actor recalled.

About the divorce and relationship with the daughter

Also, for the first time, Voytenko commented on the news about his divorce from his wife Valentina Marinina. The couple’s relationship, which was watched by the whole country last year during the “Dancing with the Stars” show, could not be saved.

“I told on the project how I cope with it, what I do: “Maybe it will work out, maybe it won’t work out, maybe I will save my family, maybe not.” This is normal. I think it’s cool, it’s right, than everything is always good, everything is always rosy. We decided this a long time ago, in advance, that probably everything is already needed. We are talking about a child. We parted ways, agreed. All right. I’m taking my daughter with me.”

Being with her daughter Emilia is extremely important for Kostya. After all, when his parents divorced, he really missed his dad. They rarely saw each other. Therefore, he himself cannot make such mistakes.

“I want to be present in the child’s life. I understand, I had an example of how not to do it, and I don’t do it that way. Now I am as productive as possible. I plan everything, I paint everything. Agree with the child. She says, “Yeah, cool.” She’s ready for anything.”

A lot has really changed in the actor’s life since the beginning of the Great War. And he himself, he says, has changed his attitude to life. Voytenko believes that a bright future awaits him and Ukraine.

“I think I have become more courageous, more mature, more reserved and more confident. I discovered people. Anton and I started working. I knew he was a cool person. But when I saw that he wakes up at 6 a.m. every day and posts what he is working on… He does it every day. This is a discovery. I want to be with him. And we will all want to do something to restore the country. I think everyone will rebuild the country.”
