From the designer: 6 interesting decor items that will refresh your interior

The 360 Design Budapest design exhibition ended the other day in Budapest. Almost fifty talented creators and design bureaus from all over Europe took part in it. Woman has prepared a selection of the most interesting designer items that simply take your breath away. Let’s go for inspiration!

Chair from ZIETA STUDIO

The Plopp chair by the famous Polish designer Oskar Zieta is made of thin, polished silver-colored steel sheet, laser-welded and inflated with pressurized air. This makes it very light but surprisingly strong. 

Plopp has a round seat with a hole in the middle and three legs. It is perfectly smooth to the touch, with clearly marked edges. Such a product will definitely become the highlight of any room.

Vases from NOOM

The DELAUNAY vase is one of the “Suprematic” collection of the Ukrainian brand NOOM . The collection is inspired by the geometric works of the great Suprematist Kazimir Malevich. Suprematism was a modernist movement in early twentieth-century art that focused on basic geometric shapes such as circles, squares, lines, and rectangles.

The geometric structure of vases is not only a decoration, but also functional dividers and holders for flowers that allow you to create elegant compositions. Even an empty vase will always look like a small piece of art in your home.

Table lamps from DECHEM Studio

Design studio DECHEM Studio, which works in Prague, presented glass table lamps with a sophisticated color gradient.​​ Minimalistic in shape and proportions, they resemble a futuristic building.

The lamps are made of brushed brass and glass, and are available in powder pink, dark blue and smoky gray. The light reveals the color gradient in the glass and completely changes the atmosphere of the surroundings.

The table called Beat from the Hungarian brand HANNABI is created using the so-called reactive etching technique. It is a mixture based on rare minerals that reacts with the tannic acid present in the wood, effectively catalyzing processes that have been occurring in nature for many decades. Each piece is part of a special wide-trunk, old, withered tree that brings the heartbeat of nature into homes.

Hangers from KATA FONT HOME

To the POLKA set from the Hungarian brand KATA FONT HOME  hangers of three different sizes are included, which can be folded into any composition. The hanging part of the hangers can be rotated in three directions, which increases the variety of their use.

The round body of the hangers is cut from plywood-acrylic composite flat plates using a special milling technology. After the appropriate surface treatment, the round sheets are glued to the stainless steel wall bracket.

Interior lamps from MAKHNO Studio

Another design bureau from Ukraine – Studio MAKHNO  ​​ presented interior lamps in the form of poppy flowers and clouds in Budapest. Yes, the ceramic lamp “Makivka” repeats the shape of the head of a poppy. In Ukraine, the poppy flower is a symbol of unfading beauty, youth, and dreams, says designer Serhii Makhno. Therefore, such a symbol should be in every home. The light that falls through the flower envelops the surrounding space with a shocking light, and will give comfort to any room.

The “Cloud” lamp is made of polystyrene foam with a decorative plaster finish. It is a complex multi-layer construction consisting of a special frame and foam that covers it. Such romantic little clouds will be perfect for living rooms with high ceilings, above tables in dining areas, next to beds in bedrooms, in spacious halls and in cozy reading corners.
