STB continues to air premiere episodes of the Supermom reality series. On the air, the project’s host, Dmytro Karpachov, shares valuable tips and life hacks about raising children. For example, Dmytro commented on the effectiveness of the punishment method of “putting the child in the corner.”

The reality TV participant noted that as part of her daughter’s punishment, she could put her in the corner to calm her down and realize her inappropriate behavior. This method of punishment outraged other mothers. The project’s host, Dmytro Karpachov, also expressed his opinion on this.

“Putting a child in the corner to curb his emotions and realize his mistakes is completely ineffective and pointless. To stop this punishment, of course, he will tell you what you want to hear from him, but give me at least one example when, after standing in the corner, someone changed their behavior once and for all. First of all, children are very impulsive and their desires and emotions are much stronger than any rules and prohibitions. Secondly, when they are stressed or experiencing negative emotions, children are not capable of analysis. The only thing they will realize is that they will be put in the corner again for their bad actions. It’s better to let the child calm down and be there for them, and then explain why they shouldn’t do that,” the host explained.
