Miss Grand International 2023: who will represent Ukraine
The organizing committee of the Queen of Ukraine contest has announced the winner. According to the results of the national jury’s vote, 19-year-old model and student of the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management Yulia Klymenko will represent our country at Miss Grand International 2023 in Vietnam. Yulia was born and raised in Kyiv. Fluent in three foreign languages. He is fond of figure skating and kickboxing. In his spare time, he helps stray animals.
This year, the girls were selected online to enable the participation of Ukrainian women who are now in different parts of the world.
“Miss Grand International is one of the most prestigious pageants in the world. Today it is no longer just a swimsuit fashion show. It is a cultural event that brings together representatives of different countries. It is another platform where Ukraine can express itself. To tell about our culture and traditions, to make the works of Ukrainian designers of clothes and accessories more visible. In addition, this year Miss Grand International has announced the theme of the contest “STOP WAR”. The voice of our representative should be heard loudly to evoke empathy among the jury and representatives of other countries through her personal story.
