For Ukrainians: a course on crypto literacy and blockchain
A free course on crypto literacy and blockchain has been launched in Ukraine. This was reported by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
“Today, the global economy is undergoing revolutionary changes. Over the past decade, cryptocurrencies have become an everyday part of modern life. Instead of home safes and bank deposits, many people around the world are investing in cryptocurrencies. Together with global and Ukrainian companies that are leaders in the world of virtual assets, we have launched an educational course. Our global goal is to teach every Ukrainian citizen how to use crypto assets competently,” said Oleksandr Borniakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation.
The course consists of 100 hours of theoretical and practical information about the world of virtual assets.
As part of the course, students will learn about:
- the history of money and the development of blockchain technology, as well as the emergence of bitcoin;
- mining and consensus algorithms;
- Ethereum and smart contracts;
- differences between cold and hot crypto wallets;
- NFT, DAO, and DeFi;
- features of centralized and decentralized crypto exchanges;
- opportunities and risks of trading in the digital asset market;
- basics of cyber hygiene;
- decentralized protocols, including IPFS and Filecoin.
