New collection GURANDA SS23 RTW
Ukrainian designer Elena Guranda presented a new collection of clothes GURANDA SS23 RTW. She is about the right of women to wear what they want. You can feel the spirit of freedom in every image, product or detail.
Signature corset detailing as well as feminine waistline is a red thread through the works of Olena Guranda. This summer the designer is telling the story of the corset’s history from painful to playful. These garments were worn by European women from the late 16th century onward, changing their form as fashion changed. Long derided as a patriarchal instrument of torture that deformed the female body, with the help of couturiers and fashion designers corset has evolved into a symbol of free female sexuality.
It is obvious that women tightened their shoelaces for centuries for centuries, but this fantastic piece with a hint of lingerie can do so much more than create beautiful bends. GURANDA offers variations of corsets as a symbol of new opportunities.
Corsets can also be seen over a T-shirt or miniskirt or in stylish denim looks. Elena Guranda from season to season does not get tired of experimenting with ultra-feminine cut, occasionally wearing a corset over her clothes rather than under them.
«Through the dresses I’m trying to speak about the circle of history, about a choice, that women made through the centuries,and the importance of their freedom», – Guranda says.

Silhouettes: the designer uses ultimate body-shapers such as slim fit or waisted shapes as well as romantic flouncing forms. Color palette include gentle sorbet yellow, sky blue, denim, milky whites, midnight black, intense beige and silver glitter.
