Kyiv Zoo invites to see apple treats for bison, bison and Przewalski’s horses
In Kyiv, this weekend zoo workers will arrange a festive treat of apples for animals. This was reported by the press service of the KMDA with reference to the Kyiv Zoo.
The zoo notes that apples are one of the favorite treats for ungulates.
“Everyone can come to the zoo and see how the largest ungulates in Europe – bison, bison-like horses and Przewalski’s horses, which are the only species of wild horses that have survived to this day – are enjoying these delicacies,” – the statement reads.
The zoo specialists noted that a complex and balanced diet is selected for each animal. They also create comfortable living conditions for permanent residents and those who were evacuated from various zoos and ecoparks of the country.
You can see how the animals enjoy their treats on January 14 and 15, starting at 11:00.
