Natalia Mogilevska met with IDPs in Dnipro

Recently Natalia Mogilevska visited Dnipro, where she presented her play “I am at home” to the city audience. Before leaving for the capital, the artist met with IDPs, who are taken care of by the charity fund “Food of Life. Dnipro”. Every day more than 1000 people are fed with hot lunches there. Since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine, the Foundation has distributed  more than 300,000 meals to the needy. 

“The singer and her team have been helping “Food of Life” since September. People were incredibly happy to get a hot lunch from the hands of Mogilevskaya herself! We solemnly presented Natalia with a certificate of honorary volunteer. People were shocked by the star’s visit! We talked, sang, laughed and cried, hugged and took pictures,” – the representatives of the foundation say.

After the visit to the Dnipro shelter, Mogilevska herself, not holding back tears, said: 

“I want to appeal to the businessmen of Ukraine, in particular to the businessmen of the city of Dnipro! There are many IDPs who are left without homes, without work, without means of subsistence, they simply have nothing to eat! Please, not so much money is needed to just help them not to starve! That’s why I’m here,  and I want to draw attention to the fact that because of the war there are people who lack your attention and it is about existence, the ability to survive! So, please, they really need your help!”.

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Mogilevskaya has been providing humanitarian aid to the victims, children in orphanages and displaced persons. In 2022, the artist held more than 100 concerts in military units, hospitals and subways.  On the eve of the New Year holidays, Mogilevskaya presented the premiere of the play “Daughters”. The artist dedicated the new performance  to all the mothers who are praying for today their  sons and daughters at the front. The producer of the performance was Nonna Kondrashova, who previously worked on the creation of the solo play “I’m at Home”. Natalia Mogilevskaya plans to hold the next performances in Kyiv.
