“How to survive the death of a child?” – video for parents

For most women, a child does not cease to be a child at the age of 18, and burying their child is the worst event in the life of any parent. Unfortunately, we began to bury our children much more often because of the Russian war in Ukraine.

“How to survive the death of a child” is the first topic of the new Ukrainian-language podcast “Inconvenient”. The project hosts are Nia Nickelis a mother of a child with disabilities, medical activist and entrepreneur. And also. Vera Romanovaformerly a psychology professor at Stanford and Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, and now a PhD in psychology, a practicing consultant and psychologist for well-known international businesses such as Amazon. The two of them discuss issues that we were taught to keep to ourselves.

“Inconvenient is when it is as difficult to ask a question as to answer it, – Vira Romanova comments. But we must raise these issues, help our loved ones cope with grief and become stronger every day.”

On December 27, the first episode of the podcast “Inconvenient” was released on YouTube channel, where all the following premieres will take place. Also created Telegram community, where you can follow the podcast announcements and ask your awkward questions. A new issue will be published every 2 weeks.

The first topics of the podcast: “life after the death of a child“, “how to help yourself and your friends in a difficult psychological state”, “how to forgive yourself for betrayal” and many other issues that at first glance may be embarrassing.
