“This time at the exhibition, we focused on storytelling, education and digitalization, thanks to which we presented a very  a wide range of choices for visitors, illustrating the diversity of the design industry. Hungarian designers and  new talents could present not only their finished works, but also 3D creations, which were shown in a special,  innovative digital space with the help of LED projectors,” explained the concept of Anita Forintos-Schuks, Deputy General Director of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency .

In the exhibition space, divided into three sections, a wide palette of designs appeared again this year. In design
of the historical part, created in cooperation with the Museum of Applied Arts, visitors had the opportunity to see projects and
a work of art by Lajos Kozma, one of the most outstanding and world-renowned artists of the early 20th century.

In the third section, visitors were greeted by a real “design oasis”, where industrial architecture and green spaces  created a spectacular contrast, thanks to which the objects presented in the innovative space stood out even more.

“We were waiting for those interested in Hungarian design culture from various European countries. Numerous Hungarian and international studies have confirmed the role and importance of cultural tourism, showing that culture exists  one of the main motivations for travelers in Europe. For this reason, it is vital for us to strengthen the role of the regional design industry in Hungary and thus ensure the highest level of development  for the talents of the Hungarian design industry,” said Zofia Jakab, CEO of the Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency.
