Olena Zelenska’s meeting with coronation guests: who did the first lady talk to?

Olena ZelenskaOn May 6, First Lady Olena Zelenska and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal attended the coronation of Charles III. On her Instagram page, the first lady spoke about the guests she managed to talk to.

First, the president ‘s wife thanked Charles III for the invitation to his coronation:

“It is an honor for Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal and I to be here today at the coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla here at Westminster Abbey to wish the country a successful reign and prosperity on behalf of all of Ukraine.”

Olena Zelenska admitted that she was able to personally communicate with members of the British royal family, namely Kate Middleton and Prince Edward.

“Thank you for your best wishes for Ukraine and our people. I believe they will definitely come true,” she wrote on Instagram.

She also met with U.S. First Lady Jill Biden and her granddaughter Naomi.

“Every meeting with First Lady Jill Biden is always unconditional friendly support that gives me confidence and optimism. Once again, I had the opportunity to express my gratitude to her and the entire American nation for their faith in us and their assistance to Ukraine.”

The President’s wife also spoke with the presidents of Israel and Latvia and the royal families of Norway and Luxembourg.
