“MasterChef. Professionals 4 Episode 10: Who left the project?
The tenth episode of the culinary project MasterChef. Professionals” -4. For 10 episodes, the participants have been proving that they are worthy of the title of the best chefs in Ukraine. Competition is growing and challenges are becoming more complex. The time has come for a mono-product – to cook deliciously with a limited number of ingredients. What surprised the chefs and who left the reality show?

The first competition of the week was an individual one. The culinary theme was a mono-product – cabbage! The participants found it under the boxes. However, they had two ingredients waiting for them-fresh cabbage and sauerkraut. They also had to choose from two options offered by the judges: either cook two dishes with fresh cabbage or one with sauerkraut. Cabbage was to make up 80-90% of the finished dish! French lazy cabbage rolls, dough, sorbet, cream spread, interpreted dumplings and other cabbage dishes amazed the professionals. Regina, for example, presented a salted myrrh. Viktor took a chance on dumplings. However, the dish turned out to be unsuccessful. This angered the judges, so Voloshin was once again in black… Ivan Kozyr also failed to cope with the task, so he joined the final battle.

Anton Bogdanov did not follow the rules and did not use the entire mono-product, and in fact, used quite a few other ingredients. So the 80% proportion was not met. The judges did not taste his dish, but handed him a black apron. And Anton Gilchuk hid the leftover cabbage, for which he also got in trouble. The judges punished the participant for trying to lie and also handed him a black one.
The second competition started unexpectedly. The professionals witnessed Olga and Volodymyr’s date. This became the main theme of the assignment – romance and love. Artem Kabulakhin was given the opportunity to choose a partner and divide the other participants into pairs. He received this bonus for the best dish in the previous challenge.
“Now for the rules. They are related to my favorite prop. Yes, this is an auction hammer. And you will pay at the auction… with time! The cards show the lots that we will be selling to you. Each lot is one romantic dinner for two lovers. And you are cooking for those whose portraits are briefly described in the cards.” – Hector told us about the details.
At the end of the test, the leaders and outsiders were identified. The best were Alexey, Sasha, Artem and Ivan. Eduard and Danko received black aprons.
Master Chief
Danko Matiychuk, Eduard Lazarenko, Anton Gilchuk, Ivan Kozyr, Anton Bogdanov, and Viktor Voloshin competed in the battle of blacks in issue 10. The participants had to prepare famous dishes in the format of ice cream. Tom yum, caprese, banosh, carbonara, Spanish tortilla, and borscht were to be a dessert as well. Ivan Kozyr did the worst job. So he left the project at week 10.
