Three out of four respondents said they want to follow people with disabilities, so they expect to collaborate more with people with intellectual and physical disabilities when creating content.

Climate change impact and cosmetics

The young generation uses cosmetics to express their personality, expressive and experimental makeup will be in trend. In addition, two out of three say that due to climate change, in particular air pollution and ultraviolet radiation, they will buy cosmetics that protect against extreme weather conditions and the sun.

A meta-universe close to reality

67% of respondents want avatars in the meta-universe to become more natural in displaying clothes, skin tones, body types. More than half of creators in 2023 will be inspired by artificial intelligence and influencers.

Social networks as a tool for earning money

Generation Z plans to use social networks even more actively to earn money. About 64% of respondents want to monetize their projects next year. Respondents also highlight financial literacy as a priority skill.

New forms of media

It is expected that creators will start launching their own podcasts en masse. At least 40% of respondents would like this very much.

Learning culture through food

The new generation studies culture through cuisine, in particular 68% say they would like to try food from another culture.

The return of raves

Raves are about being in the moment, reconnecting and letting go, and the younger generation is ready for this: 68% want to attend raves again. In addition, music unites and allows you to express yourself: more than half of the respondents said they would listen to non-English-speaking artists. The most popular are Latin American music and k-pop.

The days of dating apps are over

Dating apps are predicted to become a thing of the past. Instead, in 2023 there will be more transparent, honest and direct communication in social networks. Almost half said that they would send a meme as the first message to get acquainted. At the same time, 39% said that a bad taste in memes makes a person less attractive. Moreover, almost half said that they would not date someone who does not fit their horoscope.
