Nova Post in Hungary: shipping costs

This is the tenth European country where Nova Post has launched. 

“The Nova Post branch in Budapest is unique because it offers not only fast delivery services. It is also a coworking space for the Ukrainian community. The first branch is located in Budapest at 1066, Teréz. körút 8. It allows customers to receive and send documents, parcels, and cargo up to 100 kg to Ukraine. The branch is open every day. Delivery time from Hungary to Ukraine is from 5 days. 

The guest of honor at the opening was Charge d’Affaires of Ukraine in Hungary, Istvan Balogh. He was the first to send a greeting card to Ukraine.

The cost of delivery from Hungary to Ukraine is:

• Documents – 6000 forints 
• Parcels up to 2 kg – HUF 7000
• Parcels up to 10 kg – HUF 9000
• Parcels up to 30 kg – 15000 HUF
• Cargoes from 30 to 100 kg – 550 HUF per kilogram

Nova Post couriers deliver and pick up parcels within Budapest, and Express One has become Nova Post’s delivery partner throughout Hungary, helping to deliver parcels anywhere in the country (to the address or pickup point), as well as pick up parcels from the customer’s address for delivery to the recipient in Ukraine. 

You can call a courier through the NovaPost.com website or through the Nova Post mobile application (available on Google Play and AppStore). Delivery or pickup by courier from the address – an additional HUF 1000 for shipments up to 30 kg or HUF 3000 for every 100 kg is paid.

Using the mobile app, customers can create a waybill and pay for delivery, call a courier, find the nearest branch, and track the parcel’s location online. The Nova Post mobile app is also available in Hungarian.

“Anyone can call a courier to their address, home or office through the website or mobile app. The courier will arrive and pick up your parcel where it is convenient for you. The most important thing is that it is already packed,” says Marianna Pajda, CEO of the company in Hungary.

As a reminder, Nova Post has already opened its own representative offices in  Poland,  Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, Moldova,  and now in Hungary. Italy and France are next in line.
