Thanks to Olya Polyakova‘s appeal, the viewers of the Adult Girls show donated a quarter of a million hryvnias to help the children of the Childhood Without War project. The funds will be used to provide accommodation for two weeks for thirty orphans who were recently evacuated to Turkey.

Three days after the show “Complexes that interfere with life. Adult girls. Masha Efrosinina and Olya Polyakova“, 250 thousand UAH were transferred to the account of the project “Childhood without War”, implemented by the Rush Foundation. UAH.

Last weekend, another 30 children from Irpin and Kryvyi Rih were evacuated to Turkey. This money will be spent to ensure their first two weeks of life in safety. Today it is very dangerous for these children to be in Ukraine. Only on the night of June 13, the enemy carried out a terrorist attack on a residential building in Kryvyi Rih. Eleven people were killed. Another 30 are in the hospital. And the terror of our country is happening 24/7.

During the show, project ambassador Olya Polyakova addressed Ukrainians with an emotional speech about the need to support orphans.

“Today, Ukrainians are generously donating to the Armed Forces, to drones, to  to help hospitals. But for some reason, everyone forgot about the children. Especially about orphans. I’ve been involved in the Childhood Without War project for almost a year now, and I see how little anyone cares about the fate of little Ukrainians. And they are our future. We brought children from the hot spots to safety, to Turkey. Every month of living in Turkey is a significant expense. Hotels are rented for the children, they are fed, educated, and treated. It is very expensive and important. So please support these children,” Olya Polyakova said on the air.

Today, the cost of providing accommodation for one child for a month in Turkey is 458 euros (about 18,500 hryvnias). Over the summer of 2023, the project is expected to provide assistance and a safe home to at least 700 more orphans currently in Ukraine who need better living conditions.

The Rush Foundation conducted the largest evacuation of orphans since World War II from Ukraine to Turkey. 1700 children and adults accompanying them were rescued. Currently, about 700 children, guardians, and educators are living under the project’s shelter in Turkey.
