KARTA SVITU released a video for a new lyrical song

KARTA SVITU’s video for the song “Like Birds” premiered on YouTube. This is the band’s first video work after the success of the hit song “Dog Patron” and the band’s victory at the YUNA 2023 award.

This time, the band reveals the lyrical side of their work. The song “Like Birds” tells the story of two young people who meet in the subway and have a few minutes to get to know each other.

Pepper Production House, the studio that worked on the video, combined the real and virtual worlds. At the culmination of the video, the subway car where the events take place gets wings and breaks out of the tunnel. This image is dedicated to Ukrainians who continue to fight for their freedom and victory.

“The song ‘Like Birds’ is like a short movie. In three minutes, the story of many Ukrainians who, like birds, have been dreaming of returning to their native land for the past year is told here. Is it reality or dream visualization? I invite you to watch  in our music video work,” says Ivan Marunych, the band’s frontman.

We also remind you that KARTA SVITU will play a charity concert in Kyiv on June 1 as part of the “Who Holds This District?” tour, where you can hear “Like Birds” live, as well as their well-known hits. In addition, viewers will be able to donate to animals affected by the war. This is a joint collection of the band and Patron the Dog for the animal protection organization UAnimals.
