What products can be imported from Ukraine to Poland: rules

What goods can be imported from Ukraine to PolandMost Ukrainians take Ukrainian goods with them to Poland, ranging from medicines to food. According to official customs regulations, it is forbidden to transport animals to Poland without veterinary control:

  • meat products and offal;
  • dairy products, including confectionery products made with them.

Such products should be left in special containers at the border.

It is allowed to carry:
  • milk powder and baby and special food for medical reasons in closed packaging – 2 kg;
  • fresh (frozen) or cooked fish – 20 kg;
  • animal feed for medical reasons, packed in special packaging – 2 kg.

You are allowed 5 kg of vegetables and fruits, up to 2 kg of honey. Coffee is only 0.5 kg. 

As for alcohol or cigarettes, only a person who is 17 years of age or older can transport them. You are allowed to take it with you:

  • cigarettes – 40 pcs;
  • cigarillos (weighing up to 3 g/each) – 20 pcs;
  • cigars – 10 pcs;
  • tobacco – 50 g;
  • e-liquids for electronic cigarettes – 10 ml;
You are allowed to bring so much alcohol with you:
  • drinks with an alcohol content of more than 22% – 1 liter;
  • undenatured ethyl alcohol with an alcohol content of 80% and above – 1 liter;
  • drinks with alcohol content up to 22% – 2 liters;
  • wine – 4 liters;
  • beer – 16 liters.

What goods can be imported from Ukraine to Poland: medicines are allowed to be transported only for your own needs – up to 5 packages. It is forbidden to carry psychotropic and narcotic drugs. You can carry up to 10 thousand euros or the corresponding amount in another currency. In this case, goods for gifts (packaged) or purchases – up to 300 euros.
