“eRestoration”: a new compensation program for damaged housing

eRestore programOn May 10, the Diia service launched the eRestoration program for Ukrainians. Those whose homes were damaged as a result of Russia’s armed aggression can apply for and receive funds for repairs. This is stated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.

The maximum amount of assistance is UAH 200,000. The service is available if the housing is subject to restoration and has not been fully repaired.

How to get help?
  • report damaged property in the Diia app;
  • open a specialized account eRestore in one of the banks participating in the program: “Oschadbank, Monobank, Privatbank, Sens Bank, A-Bank, FUIB;
  • fill out an application for assistance in the Diia app, check it and send it for processing.

After that, the local authorities will send a commission. It will inspect the damaged property, record the damage and determine the amount of compensation.

Then you will receive a confirmation and funds to your eVostok card. They must be used within 12 months from the date of receipt.

If the home has co-owners, they must agree to participate in the program.
