Ukrzaliznytsia launches a non-stop train to Austria
Now a non-stop train will start running from Ukraine to Austria. It will depart daily from Vienna at 16:42 and from Budapest at 19:40, arriving in Chop at 02:28. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.
“After passing the border and customs control, continue your journey by train #750 Uzhhorod – Kyiv, arriving in Chop at 05:19, Mukachevo 06:48 – 06:53, Lviv 11:00 – 11:23, arriving in Kyiv at 18:30.”
Ukrzaliznytsia also reports that you can go back from Kyiv by train #749 Kyiv – Uzhhorod, which departs from the Ukrainian capital daily at 13:16, arriving in Chop at 01:10.
“After passing the border and customs control at the Chop station, continue your journey on the new non-stop train Chop – Vienna, which departs daily from April 25 at 03:28, Budapest-Keleti 08:20-08:40, arriving in Vienna 11:21.”
Tickets are already on sale at the ticket office and on the website. Prices for the international route start at €42 one way.
