TVORCHI’s song became the soundtrack to the TV series “Moloda”

They started looking for the main song for the New Channel project even before the shooting. A 40-year-old woman is at the center of the plot of the series Young. She wants to start her life from scratch, but her age prevents her from doing so. Everything changes when she meets a 26-year-old man who mistakes her for a peer. So she “shaves off” 14 years and tries herself in a new age, constantly getting into funny situations. A light sitcom set before the great war can distract you a bit and make you smile. And the series’ soundtrack will not leave your head for a long time. After all, this is a rhythmic, cheerful song by the TVORCHI band Molodist.

“I’ve been looking for the main song for the series for a long time. After all, it is a very important part of the project. When I started thinking about who among contemporary Ukrainian artists creates stylish music, I immediately thought of TVORCHI. “And, of course, I chose ‘Molodist’ among their compositions, because the series is about that,” recalls Mila Pohrebyska, the main director. “Nazim (the editing director) and I ‘tried on’ the song and realized that it perfectly conveys the mood of the plot. It also doesn’t get boring and doesn’t leave your head for a long time. It happened that the film crew sang it during the whole shift.”

The TVORCHI band has a special place in Moloda.

“The song ‘Molodist’ set the style of the series’ music,” says the director. “TVORCHI also appeared in one of the episodes. The band and the actors of the mass scenes attended a cool concert (laughs). The artists played themselves and performed songs that will be featured in the series. So the shift was very fun and dynamic.”
