Wages may be raised in Ukraine from April 1

Wages will be raised in UkraineThe Verkhovna Rada has registered a draft law that plans to raise the minimum wage in Ukraine in three stages over the course of 2023. If the document is approved, the salary level will increase as early as April 1. 

The draft law provides for a gradual increase in the minimum wage:

  • from April 1 – UAH 7,370;
  • from July 1 – UAH 8107;
  • from October 1 – UAH 8918.

Wages may be raised in Ukraine: to implement this draft law, additional budget expenditures will amount to UAH 14,084.4 million in 2023. UAH and they can be offset by personal income taxes in the amount of UAH 2087.8 million and taxes in the amount of UAH 11998.6 million as a result of preventing their concealment at customs.
