Evgeny Klopotenko: recipe for chocolate banana cake with pear
Ukrainian chef, restaurateur, national cuisine researcher, and host of the project Hell’s Bread with Yevhen Klopotenko, which will premiere on Saturday at 10:10 a.m. on STB, Yevhen Klopotenko shared a recipe for a flavorful cupcake with a Ukrainian flavor.
“Smoked pear can Ukrainianize any dish with its flavor. If you don’t believe me, just take a regular chocolate banana muffin and make it. The kind that is sold in most coffee shops. But add a smoked pear to it. When you take the first bite, you will feel this rich, hypnotic, unique flavor. And you will fall in love, trust me ,“ says Yevhen.

“So, you take 100 grams of butter, 100 grams of sugar, 100 grams of sour cream, 3 eggs, 2 bananas, and beat them until smooth. Add 240 grams of flour and 7 grams of baking powder and mix well with the contents of the blender. Add 1 chocolate bar and 1 grated smoked pear to the dough. Grease a baking dish with butter and sprinkle with flour. Pour the batter into the pan and bake the cake for 40-45 minutes at 180 degrees. Wait until the cupcake has cooled slightly and frost. This.”
