Choosing a profession is one of the most important decisions in life, and it is very difficult to make it at sixteen, especially when your country is at war. To help applicants – to inspire them, tell them more about professions, and dispel stereotypes – a career guidance conference called Professions Check will be held in Kyiv. The lecturers will be Ukrainians who have achieved success and popularity in their fields, including TV presenter Oleksandr Pedan, chef Yevhen Klopotenko, comedian Vasyl Baidak, and others.
In parallel with the conference, an online broadcast will be held in Kyiv, which will be accessible to schoolchildren from any region of Ukraine or abroad.
“Well-known and successful speakers from various fields will tell us about the behind-the-scenes of work, career opportunities in Ukraine, and will break down stereotypical ideas about their professions. In a light and cheerful manner, they will share their stories and, of course, answer questions about their professions,” announces the event TV host Oleksandr Pedan, who will also share his story and moderate the conference.
The event will also feature inspirational video messages from TV presenter and volunteer Serhiy Prytula, tennis player Elina Svitolina, singer Volodymyr Dantes, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, and First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska.
The career guidance conference will take place on Thursday, March 16. The beginning is at 12 o’clock. To get the link to the online version, you need to register here. The organizers will send a link to the event.
