ABODI
ABODI ‘s corporate identity combines the traditional with the modern and innovative. The latest collection, AW23/24, continues to explore the connection between the historical and contemporary existence of Transylvania. “The Abel Trilogy, written by Aron Tamazi, a Transylvanian novelist, analyzes this ambiguous relationship:
“We can have no other purpose in this life than to learn as much as we can about everything: the colorful and zigzagging world, the people who need forgiveness, the nations who complain about each other; and when we have learned as much as we can, we will return to where we can be at home.”
The color palette of the seasons is cold digital lavender, symbolizing the process of exploration and travel, as well as red cinnabar for love and connection, ochre sundial and various shades of brown for the color of the earth and pilgrimage.
Borbala
Borbala is a fashion brand based in Budapest that specializes in recycling and plastic upcycling. They create one-of-a-kind experimental clothing and earrings from plastic waste, remnants and used clothing.
The collection represents a series of experiments to address the most pressing issues of the fashion industry. The variety of colors, patterns and textures creates a special, chaotic aesthetic.
DAIGE
DAIGE is a modern women’s clothing brand that creates unique clothing in small, sustainable quantities. Their goal is to celebrate authentic beauty and creative expression through fashion, bringing a little magic to everyday life.
Creative Director Melinda Toth revisits and reinterprets previous garments that have become synonymous with the brand, combining them with brand new designs. When past and present collide, the true essence of DAIGE crystallizes in the collection.
Katti Zoob
The Katti Zoób brand is constantly building a bridge between classic couture and contemporary fashion. The brand’s concept is functional and extravagant, organic and geometric, luxurious and generously simple, relevant and timeless. The harmony of opposites, as the brand’s motto states.
MERO
Péter Merő is a self-taught fashion designer. Thanks to his discipline and dedication, he was able to win fans both in the Hungarian and international markets.
The MERO brand is based on real life situations. This gives us the opportunity to wear the brand’s familiar quality in our everyday lives. MERO is the perfect combination of confidence, courage and relaxed elegance hidden in a woman’s mystery.
Pelso
The brand was founded in 2012 by leading designers Angela Meszaros and Attila Balint in Budapest and has been working with a dedicated team of professionals ever since.
The new collection offers casual yet luxurious comfort in fine viscose and soft cotton. Dominant prints enrich comfortable silk pajamas, terry caftans and shirts. These patterns were inspired by the architecture of Budapest, which nostalgically returns to the popular concrete tile patterns of the late 1800s, complemented by organic watercolor patterns depicting lakeside motifs.
